Biography:

Ghost Rider is a supernatural antihero appearing in Marvel Comics. There have been several characters who have taken on the mantle, but the best-known is likely Johnny Blaze. He made his debut in Marvel Spotlight #5 (August 1972).

Blaze, a motorcycle stunt performer, made a deal with Mephisto to save his adoptive father's life. As a result, Blaze became bound to the demon Zarathos, transforming him into the Ghost Rider, a flaming-skulled spirit of vengeance who rides a hellcycle.

As Ghost Rider, Blaze possesses superhuman strength and durability, can control hellfire, and employs his signature weapon, a chain. He is driven to punish the wicked, often leaving destruction in his wake.
